He came down to Nashville quite a bit (Fan Fair, TV appearances, etc.) and journeyed every year to Aspen, Colorado, for the Nashville recording artists and songwriters convention. I profiled the life of Chaw Mank in the January-February 1990 issue of now-defunct Illinois Magazine.
